Principal’s Message

As principal of Hidalgo Early College High School, I am excited to be a part of the journey of our students, parents, and staff.  We all play a role in the progress and growth of our students.  Our goal at HECHS is for every student to be College Ready going into their next phase of life.  The school board, our superintendent, district administration, have all played a role in providing us with the tools to help our students and staff grow each year.  At HECHS we promote maximum participation in extracurricular activities including clubs and organizations with a vision where the greatest number of our students are actively involved, making them well rounded students.  We look forward to supporting you on this journey through your time at HECHS onward to the great things ahead for you.
